We're not environmentalist or activists.  We're not trying to make a statement and we're not trying to dictate how a screen printing operation (or the world) should be run.  There's nothing wrong with any of these things, but it's just not us.

We're just working hard to run our company better, smarter, faster -- for us and everyone else.  We're doing business in a way that benefits the big picture (not just our own little snap shots) -- trying to help others do the same, and making some great connections with like-minded people along the way.  Fun is always key!  With both clients and non-clients, we are more than happy to share what we know, and are very honest about what we don't (or can't do).  We can't always please everyone, but we always give it our best shot.

Sustainable Business Model:  Planet, People, & Profitability [business]

The Planet and the People we share it with are extremely important to our business.  Our view is similar to the basic principal of real estate;  If the real estate game says that it's all about  'location, location, location' -- then it benefits the market value of our home (LifeWork) to help keep up our neighborhood (the Planet) and support our neighbors (the People) to do the same.

The direction LifeWork grows depends on real and honest evaluations of the impact our decisions and actions have on people and the environment.  From the smallest choices (the kind of paper we print on -- or to not print at all), to the major decisions that shape our day-to-day operations, all options are balanced to determine what will be the best for our priorities (not always an easy task).

Sustaining our business is also very important.  A dead business, no matter how socially and environmentally responsible, can't make much of an impact on anything (or anyone) if it can't last -- especially with the ever changing needs of clients doing business in today's crazy economy.  At LifeWork, it really is important for us to do everything we can to support the businesses of our clients because simply put, helping to keep clients in business keeps us in business.  And like any other thriving business relationship, the most effective and efficient client-screen printer relationships don't happen overnight (if it does happen, it's pretty rare); they're mutually built over time -- and over orders, of course.  The longer you work with LifeWork -- the easier working gets (or at least it's supposed to).

Our Goal? Continuously minimize our footprint on Mother Earth and enhance our service level to support the businesses of our clients, while increasing the profitability of our company .

How do we do this? Smarter product options and sourcing, honest business practices, commitment to customer satisfaction, continuously improving efficiency, and presenting the highest level of quality we can achieve...  Some slick marketing never hurts.  We are always mindful that the screen printing and printable apparel industries, both from product and process standpoints, have tons of room to grow when it comes to options, as well social and environmental impact.  We stay ready to learn, implement new developments, and continuously improve our level of quality and sustainability.  We have our opinions, but we stay off the 'soap box' (or at least we try to).  The only thing we've learned about the 'soap box' is that it inhibits the ability to grow and become better when you realize you're doing something totally wrong.
