About Direct to Garment (DTG) T-Shirt Printing
Direct to Garment t-shirt printing is one of the most environmentally friendly ways to print t-shirts. Also know as DTG t-shirt printing or digital t-shirt printing, DTG printing combines ink jet printing technology with specially designed water-based fabric inks, making it possible to print designs directly onto the t-shirt without the use of screens or a t-shirt printing press. The unique DTG process we use also enables us to print on dark-colored t-shirts using a special pretreatment on the areas of the apparel being printed that enables us to print a white underbase on the shirt to print the bright colors on top of. The result is lasting print with beautiful colors and a very soft-hand, even on dark-garments.
