About Sustainable Screen Printing PDF Print E-mail

The ways we operate our business and the values that run our company are truly what make LifeWork a sustainable screen printing company. Our goal is to continuously minimize our footprint on Mother Earth, while increasing the level of service we offer to our clients.

  • Eco Friendly Inks: We screen print using environmentally friendly water-based inks and certified phthalate-free plastisol inks, working with our clients to choose the most sustainable option for their projects.
  • Biodegradable Cleaners and Components: The cleaners and screen printing components used in our operations are biodegradable and organic -- mostly soy based. We also use specially designed systems to reduce water consumption and ensure the water going down our drains are free of potentially harmful ink pigments and chemicals.
  • Organic Cotton: We offer a huge variety of organic cotton t-shirts, printable garments, and accessories made from other environmentally friendly materials exclusively from manufacturers who offer both sustainable and standard options in their product lines.
  • Reuse and Recycle : We try to reuse everything!  The boxes we receive blanks in from our suppliers are used to ship out completed orders to our clients.
  • Renewable Energy Credits:  To offset our carbon emissions and to advocate the use of clean energy, we purchase Renewable Energy Credits specifically calculated for the consumption of our operations which benefit clean energy power grids utilizing wind and solar power.
  • Sustainable Memberships and Organizations: When it comes to environmental and social sustainability, we listen to the experts. We are active members of various organizations promoting sustainability. By working to meet and follow the membership requirements of such groups, even if they are not all directly applicable to screen printing, we have a general guideline to follow in our efforts to achieve our goals and minimize our footprint on the Planet.
