Building long-term business relationships is very important to us, so we work extra hard to make sure that our clients are extremely satisfied with the quality of our work, as well as the level of our service. We understand that many people are pretty new to screen printing, and some find the process intimidating. We are very open about what we do and how we do it, as well as we know, don't know, and are working to know better. By openly passing this on to our new clients, you can look forward to a simple, reliable, and still cost-effective means of meeting your sustainable screen printing needs.
Previous Clients:
We no longer offer water-based printing on dark-colored garments. Achieving this print requires a process known as discharge printing, in which discharge base, color-pigments, and a chemical additive are combined to actually dye the garment being printed on. Aside from being nearly impossible to achieve color matching due to the nature of the process (inconsistent dying) and the incompatibility of most fabrics with the process, the chemical additive used to activate the discharge base is toxic (contents include formaldehyde) and is released into the air during the curing process. We're kinda fond of breathing clean air in our shop, so all of our printing on dark-colored garments is achieved using PVC-free / phthalate-free plastisol inks. =) |
